Previous Q & A
Q:Want to know if this plan has 9ft, walls and 9 by 7ft. doors
A:Yes... the plan comes with 8 and 9-foot walls with 9x7 and 9x8 garage doors. You just pick from the plan which version you want to build.
Q:Are the wall studs made of 2 x 4 or 2 x 6 and is it suitable for blown in foam insulation and can I put a heat pump NF that would suffice to heat the whole garage if you can give me any more information I would appreciate it thank you so much
A:Plan only has 2x4 exterior walls. I am sure you could blow in the insulation and you could heat and cool the garage it properly insulated - walls and attic. Not sure what NF means. A garage is just a house for cars anyway.
Q:Thanks in advance for your responses to my questions... 1. What is the design height of the garage doors? 2. Slab design is "stem wall". Could plans include as standard slab with footings? 3. WHat is the eve height - need to know to ensure a boat will fit inside. 4. Cost to modify plans to include (2) 14' wide doors centered on the garage instead of the 3 doors shown.
A:1. What is the design height of the garage doors?
We include both a 7'0" and 8'0" version
2. Slab design is "stem wall". Could plans include as standard slab with footings?
Stem wall is standard - your builder could easily modify to a mono slab.
3. WHat is the eve height - need to know to ensure a boat will fit inside.
Plan includes both 8'0" and 9'0" wall vesions
4. Cost to modify plans to include (2) 14' wide doors centered on the garage instead of the 3 doors shown.
We would draw a 4 car garage version with (2)16'0" wide doors for 300.00 - it would take about 3 weeks.
